The Spanish proverb \u2018he grew up between fires\u2019 couldn\u2019t be more true in Alberto&#8217;s case. When he was only 12 years old, he was already working in the restaurant of his uncle, \u2018La Bodega\u2019. Alberto indeed found his vocation which led him to the path of studying hospitality business at the IES of Miralbueno in the capital Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p>After just a short period of time, the restlessness in Alberto made him decide to leave his home grounds to work with one of the best chefs in Spain, Martin Berasategui, in order to expand his knowledge. In his desire to further develop, after these three years he moved to Paris where he worked at the prestigious Parisian restaurant \u2018Taillevent\u2019 for more than two years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-4 hundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling fusion-equal-height-columns\" style=\"--awb-background-position:left top;--awb-border-radius-top-left:0px;--awb-border-radius-top-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-left:0px;--awb-padding-top:0px;--awb-padding-right:0px;--awb-padding-bottom:0px;--awb-padding-left:0px;--awb-border-sizes-top:0px;--awb-border-sizes-bottom:0px;--awb-flex-wrap:wrap;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-4 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-first\" style=\"--awb-padding-right:40px;--awb-padding-left:40px;--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;width:50%;width:calc(50% - ( ( 0% ) * 0.5 ) );margin-right: 0%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-column-content-centered\"><div class=\"fusion-column-content\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>Back in Spain Alberto worked with the chef cook Quique Dacosta for one season.<br \/>\nOnly 23 years old, Quique Dacosta became chef-cook at the gastronomic restaurant of the Marriott hotel in D\u00e9nia and already at that young age, he represented the kitchen of Alicante at the prestigious \u2018Lo Mejor de la gastronom\u00eda de San Sebasti\u00e1n\u2019 (\u2018The Best\u2019 gastronomy of San Sebasti\u00e1n). After this season working with Quique Dacosta, Alberto began his adventure at BonAmb.<\/p>\n<p>Along with Restaurant BonAmb Alberto has firmly grown in his abilities which led to beautiful successes. Shortly after the opening of BonAmb, he was invited to cook during the by Gu\u00eda Repsol sponsored culinary event &#8216;Millesime Madrid\u2019 as one of the young promises of the national cuisine. A few months later he was invited to speak at the presentation of the Yearbook of the Kitchen of the Comunidad Valenciana together with the great Joan Roca of \u2018El Celler\u2019 from Can Roca (in those days nominated as best restaurant of the world).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-5 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-last\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;width:50%;width:calc(50% - He is a perfectionist and likes to keep growing and innovating every day. This lead to the result that in 2013, two years after opening, Restaurant BonAmb was awarded a Michelin star and a Sun of Gu\u00eda Repsol in their guides of 2014. These recognitions put Alberto and Restaurant BonAmb on the map within the Valencian and national gastronomy community. It was the beginning of many beautiful things to come, for example invitations for many events and presentations such as: \u2018Gastro Alicante\u2019, \u2018Gastr\u00f3noma Valencia\u2019 or \u2018Millesime Madrid\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the daily efforts of the entire team, Restaurant BonAmb and Alberto Ferruz have achieved important successes in 2015, including the award of the Michelin star, getting the second Sun in the Gu\u00eda Repsol and the acknowledgement for Best Chef of the Year awarded by the \u2018Academia de la Gastronom\u00eda de la Comunidad Valenciana\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-6
