Het Spaanse gezegde \u2018hij groeide op tussen de fornuizen\u2019 is in Alberto\u2019s geval absoluut van toepassing, want toen hij pas 12 jaar was, werkte hij al in het restaurant van zijn oom, \u2018La Bodega\u2019. Alberto vond hier zijn roeping wat ertoe leidde dat hij een opleiding horeca ging volgen aan het IES van Miralbueno in de hoofdstad Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p>De rusteloosheid in Alberto deed hem al na korte tijd besluiten om zijn geboortegrond te verlaten en drie jaar te ervaring op te gaan doen bij Martin Berasategui, \u00e9\u00e9n van de beste chef-koks van Spanje. Hier leerde hij vele nieuwe en boeiende zaken. Quique Dacosta was met slechts 23 jaar chef-kok van het gastronomische restaurant van het Marriott hotel in D\u00e9nia en al op d\u00ede jonge leeftijd, vertegenwoordigde hij de keuken van de provincie Alicante tijdens het prestigieuze \u2018Lo Mejor de la gastronom\u00eda de San Sebasti\u00e1n\u2019 (Het Beste van de gastronomie van San Sebasti\u00e1n).<\/p>\n<p>Na het seizoen waarin Alberto met Quique Dacosta werkte, begon zijn avontuur met BonAmb.<\/p>\n<p>Samen met Restaurant BonAmb is Alberto enorm gegroeid in zijn kunnen wat heeft geleid tot grote successen. Al kort na de opening werd hij uitgenodigd om te koken tijdens het door de Gu\u00eda Repsol gesponsorde culinaire evenement \u2018Millesime Madrid\u2019 als \u00e9\u00e9n van de jonge beloften van de nationale keuken. Een paar maanden later werd hij gevraagd als spreker bij de presentatie van het Jaarboek van de Keuken van de Comunidad Valenciana samen met de grote Joan Roca van \u2018El Celler\u2019 uit Can Roca (toentertijd genomineerd tot beste restaurant ter wereld).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-5 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-last\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;width:50%;width:calc(50% - Dit leidde tot het resultaat dat hij in 2013, twee jaar na opening, werd beloond met een Michelin-ster en een Zon van Repsol in hun respectievelijke gidsen van 2014. Deze erkenningen plaatsten Alberto en Restaurant BonAmb op de kaart binnen de Valenciaanse en nationale gastronomie. Het was het startsein voor de vele mooie dingen die zouden volgen, bijvoorbeeld uitnodigingen voor evenementen en presentaties als: \u2018Gastro Alicante\u2019, \u2018Gastr\u00f3noma Valencia\u2019 of \u2018Millesime Madrid\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Dankzij de dagelijkse inspanningen van het gehele team, hebben Restaurant BonAmb en Alberto Ferruz belangrijke successen geboekt in 2015, zoals het behouden van de Michelin-ster, het verkrijgen van de tweede Zon in de Gu\u00eda Repsol en de award voor Beste Chef van het Jaar 2015, uitgereikt door de \u2018Academia de la Gastronom\u00eda de la Comunidad
