BonAmb Group in Mexico!
The world discovers Alberto Ferruz.
Alberto Ferruz, chef of the BonAmb Group, with the BonAmb restaurant in Jávea and Casa Pepa in Ondara, opens a pop-up restaurant in the Mexican city of Oaxaca for the period of 3 months.
The reason for this is, that in 2024, the Michelin Guide starts to award the restaurants in Mexico, proof that the Mexican restaurateurs have improved a lot during these years. Due to this to this growth of the Mexican gastronomy, the Michelin Chef Meets Mexico platform has invited Alberto Ferruz to merge our BonAmb cuisine with local products from Oaxaca. One of the main objectives of this project is to join forces to appraise the gastronomic cultures of both countries in the way they deserve.
For this event, Alberto Ferruz went to Mexico with 10 members of his team, including Cristina Prados, winner of the National Gastronomy Award for Best Dining Room Director 2022. The reservation dates for this temporary restaurant are from February 1, 2024, until April 30, 2024.
This first gastronomic project in Mexico is helping us to work on other future innovative experiences. We mounted this project in Hotel Casa Bonita (Oaxaca), which also provides us with personal gastronomic growth, discovering one of the most ancient gastronomic cultures, with incredible nuances, products, aromas and flavours, that surely will get the entire BonAmb Group to an even higher level.
