2016: A second Star guides us
We are celebrating, we are turning 10!
We turn 10 this year, and we have always believed that it is essential to observe the past, to look at the future. That’s why we want to review our decade of life, through a series of articles. Today we publish the fourth instalment: 2016: A second Star guides us.
We come to a very special year in the existence of BonAmb. Just three years after debuting in the Michelin guide, we were awarded the second Star. After just five years since opening our doors, we already had 2 Michelin Stars and 2 Repsol Suns. The great effort and sacrifice of Alberto Ferruz, Pablo Catalá and their respective teams had been recognized in record time.
During the year of 2016 we carried out a renovation in the kitchen and the creations that came out of it were: pumpkin pickle, grilled filtered shrimp, salt-steamed mackerel, etc … while the dining hall offered references from several international areas of cava, champagne and spirits. In addition, the wine list offered whites, rosés and reds from countries around the world and from all the important regions of Spain: Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Catalonia, Castilla, Valencian Community, Galicia; as well as a special collection from Vega Sicilia.
The end of 2016 brought us a huge promotion, a new situation that did not make us relax, but gave us even more desire to grow, dream and evolve, always standing by our mantra: Passion, Dreams and Work.
